Maryam Bassam was born in Tehran, Iran; her interest in fine detailed art flourished as a child and she continues passionate about her work till this day. She attended the prestigious University of Tehran College of Fine Arts where very few select students are accepted from within the country yearly. Her focus/majors were centered on fine detail/acrylic painting and handcrafting. delve deeper into her passion and started presenting her art in multiple galleries around the middle east where she soon became a household name in the art
community.



















After deciding to relocate to the United States, she ventured into exposing fine detail art skills to people in Fairfax, Virginia. In 2017, she moved to New Mexico where she finally began her journey in cosmetic tattooing.  She was then honored to be accepted under the teaching of  Jonelle at  GlowHouse in Santa Fe,Nm. Here she received intense training in microablading/cosmetic tattooing, after which she became certified as a cometic tattoo specialist and received her license under the New Mexico Boards and Commission. After a year of training and experience, she now has opened her boutique for the las Cruces community where she has lived since 2017. Maryam’s work centers around client comfort and extreme attention to detail for each clients satisfaction and results which stems from her intense background of fine detailed art.  In her free time, Maryam enjoys time with family, travelling, and continuing her passion her in art.
